I loved your article… and most importantly the message that we are not our stuff. It must have been a horrible feeling to have the sweet memorabilia of your baby’s early life taken away. I remember when my home was threatened by a wildfire, and all I could think of to take were my photo albums and baby memorabilia. Luckily my home was saved, but it’s really made me think about what’s important. Beautifully written and you offered some thought provoking guidance.
