Leticia, I cried all the way through this. I had the SAME experience! I had never seen an unrepaired cleft until my daughter was born. I, too, often write about it here on Medium. What a wonderful mother you are… so totally embracing the cleft mommy experience. My daughter is 30 now, and totally comfortable with her baby pictures and sharing her story with others.
