What a terrifying experience Katherine! My only comparison was the hurricane I experienced as a child living in Virginia. I don’t remember the aftermath, just that we were safe and a tree had fallen next door, but I will never forget it. Thanks for sharing your safety ideas. We have wildfires, here in Southern California, a natural disaster I need to always be prepared for.
